What is the difference between licensed and unlicensed PV?
Unlicensed (rooftop / self-consumption) projects first cover your own demand and feed surplus to the grid. Licensed projects (e.g. our 53 MWp Viranşehir plant under YEKA-4) are built to sell electricity directly to the grid. Egesa offers full scope in both models, from feasibility to commissioning.
How long does a PV investment take to pay back?
With Turkey's high irradiance and fixed purchase guarantees, typical payback is 7–10 years and IRR is in the 15–22% range. The 25+ year panel lifetime provides predictable cash flow. This is an illustrative scenario, not a commitment.

Rooftop PV (e.g. 1.82 MWp IRC Automotive) offers fast payback for industrial and commercial sites with high daytime demand. Ground-mount is preferred for scale generation and grid sales. Egesa delivers both.
How long does installation and commissioning take?
It depends on project size; including call letter and connection agreement processes, a typical ground-mount project is commissioned within a few months. We manage the whole process with a transparent 8-step roadmap.
Do you provide financing and loan support?
Yes. We support you through investment analysis, budget modelling, financial-institution connections and loan processes.

We offer a guaranteed O&M contract, 24/7 SCADA performance monitoring, preventive/corrective maintenance and panel cleaning. Panels pass independent Solpeg inspection.
Can we combine PV with energy storage (BESS)?
Yes. With a PV + battery hybrid, energy generated during the day is stored and used or sold during evening peak hours, raising the return curve.
